Abstract: The variability in solar activity is closely related to that in the climate. The influence of solar activity on the Earth’s climate and climate variation has always been the focus in the scientific community. Although series of studies from different angles have been carried out in the past years, there are still many questions concerning the complex influencing mechanisms unclear so far. This paper summarizes some international research results and perspectives in recent years, and it further generalized the possible mechanisms and pathways of the impact of solar activity on the Earth’s climate.
