Abstract:
The development and changes of meteorological information dissemination modes are analyzed in this article, it includes traditional media such as TV, radio, newspapers, telephone, electronic display and new media such as Wechat, microblog, weather website, mobile phone APP. The analysis shows that the share of traditional modes of meteorological information dissemination has fallen in recent ten years, while the new media developed rapidly and social enterprises and individuals began to participate into meteorological information dissemination services. Nowadays, the meteorological information service shows new features, such as that the meteorological information products become more abundant, the service ways get more multiple, main bodies of providing services are more diverse than before. The weather service plays greater roles in the national economy. The updates of meteorological information transmission mode identify that there are seven major trends: Firstly, the issue bodies and dissemination bodies of meteorological information are separating gradually. Secondly, the additional value of meteorological information is mining in depth. Thirdly, Social enterprises and individuals who participate into meteorological service market develop rapidly and become bigger and stronger. Fourthly, the meteorological institutions need to focus on providing basic meteorological data services, platform services and technical support and its core mission is to improve the accuracy of predictions and level of resolution. Fifthly, the precise meteorological service based on user's demand is the foundation of the meteorological service. Sixthly, the meteorological information service relies on the development of multi technology integration. Seventhly, the integration of globe meteorological service become the trend of development. Along with the development of economy and society and the progress of technology, the demand for meteorological services is increasing. Meteorological services will not only solve the problem of the dissemination of meteorological information, but also solve how to improve the service quality. Meteorological services will play an important role in economy society in the future. The development of new technology makes it becoming possible that meteorology merges with other industries.
