Abstract:
In recent years, lightning disasters have occurred frequently in Suzhou. The regional differentiation classification of lightning disaster risk in Suzhou can provide reference for lightning disaster prevention.Based on the three-dimensional lightning location system data, elevation data (DEM ) and soil conductivity data of Suzhou City from 2016 to 2020, the grid data of 1 km ×1 km was formed by normalization processing. The five indexes of ground flash density, ground flash intensity, soil conductivity, altitude and topographic relief were selected to conduct risk analysis for the lighting disaster-causing factors in Suzhou City. The standard deviation classification method was used to classify the risk area of disaster-causing factors. The results show that the high risk is concentrated in the northeast of Changshu City and the northwest of Taicang City; the sub-high risk is distributed in the east of Huqiu District as well as the east and south of Wuzhong District; the medium risk is distributed in the north of Gusu District; the sub-low and low risks are concentrated in Kunshan City, the eastern Wujiang District and the Taihu Lake area (western Wuzhong District).
