微波辐射计在天府国际机场辐射雾监测中的应用

Applications of Microwave Radiometer in Radiation Fog Monitoring at Tianfu International Airport

  • 摘要: 为提升天府国际机场辐射雾临近预报准确度,利用微波辐射计等资料对天府国际机场的4个辐射雾过程的温度层结及湿度条件特征进行分析,探究微波辐射计产品在辐射雾监测中的应用。结果表明:温度廓线产品可分析逆温的加强与减弱,对预报跑道视程(Runway Visual Range,RVR)的减小与增大有一定指示作用;液态水路径在雾的形成阶段多呈上升趋势,RVR<550 m期间及结束阶段,液态水路径多呈“上升—下降”的趋势;绝对湿度可判断起雾前机场的湿度条件,行星边界层顶部(2 km)的绝对湿度在起雾前多在3 g/m3及以上;相对湿度>90%对应有明显的云层,近地层相对湿度大值区增厚与雾的变浓有一定对应关系,RVR<550 m时,2000 m以下相对湿度大值区有爆发性增厚现象。

     

    Abstract: To improve the accuracy of radiation fog nowcasting at Tianfu International Airport, this study analyzes the characteristics of temperature stratification and humidity condition of four radiation fog processes at Tianfu International Airport by using data from microwave radiometer and other sources, and explores the application of microwave radiometer products in radiation fog monitoring. The results show that the temperature profile product can be used to analyze the strengthening and weakening of temperature inversion layer, which has dication significance for the decrease and increase of runway visual range (RVR). The liquid water path tends to increase during the fog formation stage, and when RVR is less than 550 m and at the end of the fog event, the liquid water path often shows an "upward-downward" trend. Absolute humidity can be used to determine the humidity conditions at the airport before fog formation, and the absolute humidity at the top of the planetary boundary layer (2 km) is usually 3 g/m3 or higher before fog formation. Relative humidity greater than 90% corresponds to the presence of distinct cloud layers, and the thickening of the high relative humidity area in the near-surface layer corresponds to fog intensification. When RVR is less than 550 m, the high relative humidity area below 2000 m tends to experience an explosive thickening.
