An Analysis of Meteorological Disasters in Jingmen in Recent Ten Years and the Responsive Measures

  • Based on the meteorological disaster data and the climate impact assessment of Jingmen, the variation characteristics of meteorological disasters in Jingmen from 2007 to 2016 are analyzed. The results showed that rainstorm, drought, high wind, hail, snow freezing, high temperature, fog and haze are main types of disasters in Jingmene. The death toll caused by meteorological disasters was downtrend. The damages from disastered people, the disaster area of crops, the direct economic loss reduced first and then increased. The damage in 2016 was the most serious.
