Climate Quality Assessment and Classification of“Wushan Plums”

  • Based on the meteorological data in Wushan national meteorological observation station, Shuikou, Xiaoshixia power station, Miaoyu and Longwang village from 2011 to 2018, as well as quality parameters of Wushan Plums including single fruit weight, contents of titrable acidity, total soluble solids, edible rate, etc, the key meteorological factors of several varieties of Wushan plums in different growth period (dormancy, blossom, development, hardcore, maturation period) were selected to construct the climate quality evaluation model for batch Wushan-plum-quality-grade estimation. As for early maturing and midmaturing plums variety, the temperature daily range at the early-growth stage, sunshine hours, rainy days, precipitation, the temperature daily range and air relative humidity at the hardcore stage as well as precipitation, rainy days and the temperature daily range at the maturation stage are integrated into final climatic quality evaluation indicators. Climate quality is divided into five levels: extra excellent, excellent, good, general and poor.
