Abstract
Based on the daily minimum temperature data of Tongling Station from 1960 to 2017, the climate change characteristics of frost in Tongling were analyzed by using modern climate diagnostic analysis method. Results show that the average initial frost has been delayed, the average final frost has been significantly earlier, the frost period has been significantly shortened and the climate has changed abruptly in Tongling City in recent 58 years. Wavelet analysis shows that there are four different periods in the initial, final frost and frost periods. Delayed initial frost and early final frost are beneficial to agriculture.
