Abstract
In this paper, the misreported heavy precipitation process in Anshun city from the night of June 25 to the morning of 26, 2015 was analyzed by using MICAPS conventional observation data, FNL1°×1°reanalysis data and radar data from Guiyang. At the same time, the altitude is gradually increased from South Zhenning to North Xixiu District, where Dabang River and Qingshui River are tributaries of Beipan River. The southerly airflow on the Northwest side of the subtropical high and on the East side of the weakened tropical depression climbed from south to north along the Beipan River tributaries. There was a convergence of wind speeds when the southerly airflow moved to north because of the topography. The topography provided strong dynamic lift conditions for this rainstorm, and the heavy rain occured in the windward slope of the Beipan River tributaries.
